Proceeds from the Round Up in the Desert IV, our 2009 PT Event, and our Round Ups at Uncle Sam's, held February 2010 and 2011, were raised to support:
Camelot's mission is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through programs of horsemanship and outdoor education, which develop self-worth, independence and active participation in the community. Each year we cruise to Camelot to visit Mary Hadsall, their Executive Director and equine instructors Bravo, Nick, Cliffy, Sophie, Cayanna, Scout, Adonis and Paladin. Mary introduced our club to Camelot's history, horses, equipment, the work they do with disabled children and adults. Camelot does so very much for their students, staff and community, we are glad we are able to help them in their efforts. Proceeds from the 2009 show, which were donated to Camelot to support Student Scholarships totalled $1750, while our 2010 Game Day raised $835, which will feed the equine residents for a month. Thank you to everyone who attends, volunteers, and donates their time and money. We can't do it without you!
